Have you ever contradicted yourself?
If not, dare to.
What is contradiction anyway? When you have exactly opposite opinion or viewpoint about the same thing, you are contradicting yourself.
This often happens as a function of time, as you go about your life and learn from your experiences. But are you willing to accept and go to the opposite extreme of your opinion? Not many can. It needs lot of courage to make yourself wrong. If you contradict yourself about the same thing, you may be labelled as a hypocrite! It may also be looked upon as a sign of confusion. Contradiction happens not because you are confused but it happnes when you reach clear insight from the raw and real life experience. Sometimes, the fear of being called hypocrite or confused frightens you from changing your stand about the same thing.
Being able to contradict yourself is not hypocrisy but courage. It is not weakness but strength. It is not confusion but clarity. It is not defeat but victory on your own self. Being able to go to exactly opposite spectrum of your limiting belief is a virtue. It shows that you are not rigid and inflexible. You are not scared of your insecurities. You are courageous and open. It shows that you don’t just live in the limited confined space of your mind.
If you have never contradicted yourself, you have never questioned yourself.
Is unquestioned life worth living?
